Dr Clare McKenna

Dr Clare McKenna began her career by studying Psychology (BSc Hons) at the University of Liverpool and went on to complete her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (DClinPsy) at Lancaster University, qualifying in 2012.

Before working for Time Psychology, Dr Clare McKenna worked in the NHS across a number of different child and adolescent services (including a child and adolescent mental health service, a specialist children’s psychological service and a specialist looked-after children’s service) as well as working within an adult physical health service.

Dr Clare McKenna works in an integrative way, drawing upon a range of therapeutic models, in order to best meet the needs of the individual and to achieve meaningful change.

Away from Psychology, Dr Clare McKenna loves spending time with her family, knitting and visiting new places.
