Dr Rachel Andrew has worked as a qualified clinical psychologist for 17 years. She began her career by studying Psychology (BA Hons) at The University of Newcastle upon Tyne. She later studied at the University of Northumbria at Newcastle for a Post Graduate Certificate In Education and completed her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (ClinPsyD) in 2003 at the University of Teesside.
Before working for Time Psychology, she worked in the NHS with a forensic psychology team, youth offending teams, and child and adolescent mental health teams. She has assessed and treated adults and young people across in- patient, secure and community settings. Her approaches draw on a number of psychological models.
Dr Rachel has completed post-doctoral training in cognitive, behavioural, solution focused, narrative, EMDR and systemic approaches.
Away from psychology, she loves television, the theatre and swimming.
